Google Buzz used Gmail user's contact lists to create social networks that everybody could see. Those that declined that service were still included in some of the aspects.
Google is implementing its +1 service. It is similar to Facebook's 'LIKE' button. Users can +1 a Google Search that they like. Search results can be filtered by the amount of +1. It will make Google Search more social.
Google has added a new button that allows people to click on it and it will show that you have like that page. Just like the (like) button on facebook.
Its is called google plus 1 what is does is puts websites in order of how many times they have been like by facebook users, so you can know if people recommend a certain website.
From what I could see from the news, Google is adding a +1 to it's stuff. I figure it's kinda like the Like button on Facebook or the Thumbs up button on YouTube.
As for google! They currently are in the process of adding a plus one (+1) button to their pages to replace the 5 star system. They believe this will be a more efficient and useful system. Some people are saying they are stealing the ides from twitter and facebook; it mimics their like button.
People click the plus one button and their friends/ contacts can see what pages have the best/ most useful information.
I think if it works as a marketing tool, they should be able to use it.
Google is adding a "+1" button. This button is very similar to facebooks "like" button. With the "+1" button with a single click you can recommend links to all of your gmail contacts.
I found that Google has initiated its "Google +1" plan. Google +1 is very similar to the facebook "Like" button. Google +1 will help users, as people +1 it the more it will be seen as a top result. However you will need a Google account for this.
Google new feature is a +1 button. It allows you to click on the +1 link which then recommends the google link. The more +1s the more recommended or reliable the source will be.
Google is unveiling a new button called +1. This button is similar to the like button on facebook. It allows the user to recommend certain search results or links for fellow friends to look at also.
Google is adding a new feature called "Google +1." It is similar to the Facebook's like feature, except you cannot see how many people liked a site, but rather how many of your contacts liked it.
Google has started a "+1" plan. It works in a similar manner to the "like" button on Facebook. I think that this plan will allow users to search information and find links to relevant data faster because when someone finds the link to be of actual use instead of being a junk link they simply "+1" the link and the higher the number the more relevant the data can be. This would require a Google account but I think getting a Google account would be a small "price" to pay to be able to search information faster.
I heard about a new name called lizamoon that infected more then a million websites. A google's +1 buttons is trying to compare its self with facebook. Google is coming out with alot of new ideas. Like making app that would identify people's faces. Microsoft accuses google of antitrust violations.
I watched a few videos on what a motion sencer would be like I find it interesting. Maybe one day we will use our eyes to communicate and send emails ;P
I'm not sure what I was supposed to do on this assignment. I am sorry about this but from what I gathered it was to see what is new with Google which would the the +1. The +1 adds a feature similar to the like button on facebook. I personally enjoy the like button and will use it on facebook so I can surely use the +1 as well.
