**FYI: This article is about how Myspace just recently cut about 48% of its users. Very interesting article.**

Yes, I actually blogged in this class last year, I think its rather fun. However, I feel that sometimes blogging can be used as an intention getter in some situations. However, in situations like this class, its not used for that purpose, but rather for educational purposes.

I thought that article was interesting because it talked about our future of blogging/social networking. I have never personally blogged before(unless we count facebook and myspace???), But I am excited to start, because I think it will be an interesting experience. I think blogging is a great way to find something that interests a person enough to follow the blog often.

I have never blogged before. I think blogging will be something I only do in this class.

No, I have always thought blogging was waste of time. I feel that blogging can be good in ways of getting news out and giving people a chance to comment on the different articles. Except people tend to take it to extremes. Some of the blogs comments can start major arguments that spin circles. No one ever settles and or decides they were wrong. I guess I've always looked at blogs as a place to argue their point for no reason.

This will be my first time blogging, it's never been anything I have attempted myself, not due to lack of interest, just an overall feeling of dread at sharing my thoughts with strangers.

This is my first time blogging and I will probably only blog for this class. I think that blogging is an interesting idea though.

I have only blogged for one class and that as last year in an English class. I have also blogged on facebook if that counts? I think blogging is a fun, different way to express your feelings toward a topic. People probably are more eager to share their feelings over blogging than in person.

I have never blogged before. I think blogging is how some people express feelings or opinions. They use blogging to get their point across, or they use blogging to vent. I honestly don't have a certain opinion on blogging yet because I have never tried it. I do think if it helps people feel better, it is a positive thing.

I have never blogged before. I don't even really know what blogging is or means. I wonder why would people want to blog? I am not really sure what to think about about blogging since I have never done it before.

  14. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/ces/8247004/CES-2010-Sony-unveils-glasses-free-3D-TV.html

I found this article interesting because myself, as well as others I have talked to, are not fond of wearing glasses when watching movies. That is one of the major drawbacks with 3DTVs. Sony, as well as other companies are now beginning to create 3DTVs that do not require the user to wear glasses. This is huge step forward and I believe people will be less skeptical to adopt these new TVs now; once they release of course.

I have Blogged before but I only did it once. There was really no incentive to keep doing it. I wouldn't mind blogging if I had a large following that wanted to read what I had to say.

I have never blogged before unless facebook and myspace count. They usually are more social or personal topics though and are not usually related to news articles. I'm not sure what I think of blogging yet. It could be fun.

This is the first time I've ever blogged before. I'm not too sure on what I think about blogging. I mean, it's interesting to find out about what other people think on the subject they are blogging about. And it seems like a good way to find out information on something I might know nothing about.

  17. http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2010-09/sprayable-clothing

I have not seen the video the post has available, but the article makes me want to know how the spray-on clothing really works. It was designed by a Spanish fashionisto as the article calls him.
It's like silly string and body paint in one that can be washed or if one is not satisfied with it, it can be dissolved using the same solvent used to make it.
The spray-on clothing, I find it odd but definately interesting. Not only is it "high fashion" its orignal and hopeful outcome is spray-on-bandages and hygienic upholstery.
And what it may have anything to with North Dakota... I'm not quite sure except that maybe the oil field workers, when they rip their skin open, could use the eventual "instant medication" the spray-on bandages to help prevent infection.
Since the article was posted this past September, hopefully they are well into their goal.

Never blogged before. Tried once but it took so long to ever get a responds back that i forgot about it. Then you've got the problem with all the spammers that make problems with the blog. It just not a very efficent way to talk and debute about topics.

  19. I have written one or two blogs before, but never followed up. Having lived in China with limited and/or restricted access to the internet, I found myself much less 'in to' the kind of online 'hub bub' then other people my age.

    http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2011/01/darpa-wants-a-new-language-to-explain-everything/

This article is a very clear look into some of the pros and cons of modern government surveillance. This article describes a mathematical language to be developed increasing the capabilities of government sensors to analyze and interpret information from telephones, social networks and other such community functions.
The benefits of such things are obvious, less high level crime, terrorists stopped sooner and so on. Some problems that might surface however is a kind of false positive taking time and resources away from the authorities and privacy away from the common person; artificial intelligence has come a long way since it was dreamed up, but will never be perfect.

  23. Three trends i notice was they had go power. They worked hard to make there dreams come true. They never gave up on their dreams. For me if if i was too try and become a millionaire would be in the oil business, because there is alot of work to be done and new things can help develope and prodoce oil flow. The other way i would like to become millionaire is millitary sales. As a military man myself i have seen alot of military waste like trucks, cars, ships, cameras, office material, furniture, and much more that can be very usful for are country still and also for public use.

  24. Well frist off im not to sure about paying with a phone any more then paying with a credit card. I am still old fashion when it comes to paying my bills. I like to pay with cash and get a receipt, that way i know for sure that i have prouf that i made my payments. I have the same questions, what if someone finds your phone can they use it to get into movies or buy things with it. What if your phone has problems do you loss everything or can your information be tranfured over to a new phone, if your phone has problems with paying for things what happens, can they fix the problem right away or no. I think maybe its a great idea but im not to sure if i would use it or try and use it so. I think im going to stay with the old fashion way of life pay with cash.:)

  25. I thing its a great idea to have because with out it who nows what might happened and thats already be proven. Its already been proven that not everything works the best way also. The pros of this scanning is that it helps use be safer when we fly, it also detects if someone is hiding anything on their person. The cons is that it doesn't really work the way it should. Sometimes somethinks do go undetected. It takes up alot of time and it scares the hell out of some people. They are working a new way of scanning it is some what the same way but its like using a stick image of the body instead of the full screen body image.

  27. Tech has come along way, it seams that everything today is tech.Dallas has the bigest TV screen in the world so they say.Today with all the tech out there coachs and players can't get away with to much these days. There are cameras every where you look. With out the adds the Super Bowl would be alittle borring. We need adds to help take the stress off use when watching the game. My favor add was Best Buy with Ozzy Osbourne in it. Todays adds are alot more funnier the adds from the past.
