  1. From reading all of these I noticed that they all did what they loved and they started when they were young when they have nothing to worry about. If it fails you still have plenty of time to start something else. Probably the facebook idea interested me the most because he started it in his dorm room and it is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. I'm not sure what I would tell someone right off the top of my head. It would take me a little while to think of something.

  2. Three trends I noticed were
    1. Beginning at an early age
    2. Web based companies
    3. Belief in what they were doing

The Social Networking ideas still interest me. They help me as well as many others stay in quick contact with friends and family.

I can't say my idea and risk someone else taking it because it is that good.

  3. 1. They all started at a young age.
    2. They all succeeded before age 26.
    3. Still successful.

The cartoonist interested me, it's something that is truly creative.

If someone came up to me and offered me a million dollars to tell them my best entrepreneur idea, my idea would be for them to seek professional help, if I had an idea that could make millions I wouldn't be sitting in class right now, lol.

  4. Three trends I have noticed are smarts, ambition, and passion. I really like facebook because it allows me to keep in touch with family and friends that I probably wouldn't be in touch with without it. My idea would be to have prescriptions filled online, I'm not sure if anyone has this option yet, but it could be very helpful to a lot of people.

  5. Three trends I noticed in this slideshow were that every single millionaire mentioned in this said "Go after what you enjoy doing, and go after your dreams." Another millionaire also made the very smart comment of "If someone in your support group doesn't like your idea or doesn't support you, get rid of them."
Jermaine Griggs interested me the most in this article because of his company, Hear and Play Music Group. His company appealed to me the most because I love music, and a company that allows students to learn instruments by ear over the internet is a great idea to help music spread across the nation.
If someone offered me a million dollars to tell them my best entrepreneur idea, I would tell them I have no ideas for being an entrepreneur and thus have no ideas. So I suppose I would stay broke haha :)

  6. Three Trends: All had something to do with electronics, all started young, all have advice for young entrepreneurs.

Interests the most: Dell, because I use computers a lot

Entrepreneur Idea: Virtual Reality System. I don't have to know how to make it, they just wanted to know my idea.

  7. I noticed these 3 trends:

that they all made millions of dollars off of something they loved doing, something they had a passion for.

They started and took a risk when they were young. One of them stated "When you're young it's the best time to start. You don't have as many responsibilities as you will when you're older. If you fail now you will gain experiance and your next venture will be a success".

They learned from others and their own mistakes.

The facebook idea interests me the most because it is the only one I associate with.

If someone came up to me and offered me a million dollars for my best idea I wouldn't give it to them because it would be worth more than just one million dollars. An idea I have would be to put a pager on a remote (just like a telephone). You would just push a button and listen for the remote to beep. I always loose the remote and this would be a convenient tool.

  8. 1. One trend includes the fact that most of the entrepreneurs on this site are young.
    2. Another trend that we can see from this article includes the way they made money, which is mostly online or to do with technology.
    3. Finally, I noticed that most of the people on here weren't looking for money as an influence. They relied on their dreams and their dedication to something no one has usually done before.

The business idea that interests me the most would (unfortunately) have to be facebook. The reason being is that I wonder how such a simple idea can be put together to create one of the biggest online juggernauts in the 21st century (so far, anyway...).

As for someone throwing me a million dollars for my best idea? Well, I have an idea that has to do with "cloud" based calendars.

  9. The three trends I noticed the most were that they had a passion about what they were doing, they started really young (I believe the youngest was 9) and that they had support in every situation. The plan that Jermaine Griggs has is the one that interests me the most. When I was in high school music was my thing, but I always wanted more. It wasn't something my teacher was always able to give. To have been able to get ahold of something like his online lessons would have been amazing!

If I were to give up my best idea for a million bucks, it would have to be windshield wipers that actually fold underneath the hood of the vehicle with a cover. I hate having to make sure that the snow is off of them so they don't streak.

  10. They're mostly internet sites, they started pretty young, they marketed something they were passionate about. I really like Hear and Play Music Group. I am very much a music person so I like the plan to make a place where people can learn to play by ear.

If someone came up to me with a million dollars for an idea I would say an online site where everybody with a library card can check out books without having the limits that the current websites have. Like with my current library card, I can only get very few books because the ones I want to read aren't on the site that Williston's library is connected to. They don't even have a whole series on the site. So I would compile all the books from every site so that anybody with a library card from any library could find whatever book they want.

  11. After reading about all of these people what i noticed was that they were all young and they all just did what they loved or were interested in. All of them said that you have to be passionate about what you are doing and you cant doubt it. Also they all say that they are young so if they mess up it is just something that you can learn from. I would have to say that the business idea that was most interesting to me was the guy who created Facebook, because he did while sitting in his dorm room, and it is a great idea because now it is easy for everyone to stay in touch with friends and family from far away. I am not too sure what business idea i would come up with right away, i would need some time to think about it.

  12. As I read about all millionaires I noticed that all of them were entrepreneurs in different types of fields. The second trend is most of these companies are internet based. All the founders say it's easier to start a business on the internet because they can recieve immediate feedback. Also the web is in reach of people all of the world, making it the best way to advertise as well. The third trend is they all earned their first million before the age of 25.

I think the best business idea that interests me the most would have to be the idea of facebook. So many people use it and its popular in pretty much every country. I think its interesting because it started out as such a small idea and exploded in litterally a year. I just like how there are no boundaries when it comes to the aspects of Facebook.

My best entrepreneur idea would have to be an internet based company. I'm not exactly sure what kind of company it would be, but i know by having it internet based it could get better known and expand as well.

  13. 1. They all started at an early age.
    2. Did what they believed in and were passionate about.
    3. All of them based made their profits using the internet.

The Social Networking idea interests me the most because I think there is still a lot of money to be made in that field.

I think that the skype is a great idea and i would invest and find advancements in that.

  15. I noticed they were passionate about their ideas and jumped at the chance to have them take form.
Most of the ideas had something to do with online ideas.
In their comments they said to just go for it, that young people are more likely to go for the millions then if they waited with their ideas.

I love the idea that people can learn to play instruments online. That idea was something awesome to know about.

I lose my ipod ALL the time. I would like it if somehow one could find it by calling it or using a device that allows the ipod to make a sound charged or not. Something like the key-finders. I need one for my ipod. That would be my million dollar idea.

  16. I noticed that most of these millionaires weren't out seeking money. Some of these millionaires didn't graduate college. They just had a passion and used that to become successful. The business idea that interest me the most is finding a solid support team who believe in your idea because a group of minds set on one goal is better then just one person doing it by themself. If someone gave me a million dollars to tell them my best entrepreneur idea it would be a sports drink that never makes you tired.

  17. Something most of them had in common was the fact that they got rich off of an internet site that created. They ranged from social sites to sale sites, but they still made their money from it. I don't have a whole lot for business ideas, unless your counting inventing as a business. I wanna invent something. Something that everyone is going to use. Either that or improve something that's already out there and make it better. Then I'll sell it to a big business and let them sell my product for me. If someone offered me a million dollars for my ideas, I'd probably tell them no. I think that a lot of the ideas young people have are worth way more then a million dollars. And if someone can just hand out a million dollars for an idea. He's got the money to make the idea his before you. And right now I don't have any good ideas so I don't really have anything to give away haha.

  18. 1. They are all under the age of 25 when earning their first million.
    2. They are all technology based and mainly internet based.
    3. They are all entrepreneurs and their ideas or businesses are still successful today.

The business idea that interests me the most is facebook because it is used across the nation as well as in other countries and I frequently use it. I am not exactly the entrepreneur type but my idea would probably follow the second two trends of the entrepreneurs we read about.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 1. They all started and struck it rich young.
    2. They all owned web or technology based companies.
    3. They weren't influenced by money.

The Facebook idea interested me the most because it was started in his dorm room, much like how Google started out. I'm not much of an entreprenuer, so I probably wouldn't be able to come up with a good idea at a moment's notice.

  20. Well, the most common trend i notice with these millionaires that they started at an early age with determination. Like they were really committed to their work. It wasnt just a thought or an idea they actually put the work and time in to make those things possible. Also, money wasnt a problem for them because it started from a dream and became reality. I believe others saw potiental in them and maybe invested.

Another trend were their knowlegde/education. They used their power of knowledge to determine their future to where they want to go in life. The most business idea that interests me the most was probably the facebook invention. Of course i seen the movie, it was kind of selfish on his part he was focus and was strictly about business. Anyone whose dedication to his job like he was deserves to be an millionaire. But if i was giving a milli i'll probably make an invest on someone elses idea whom trying to make it as an entrepreneur.

  21. Three trends I noticed were that everyone of them had done something with the internet, each of them followed an idea they were passionate about, and they all started at an early age in life.
I like the online lessons to teach piano, drums, and guitar by ear. I learned how to play piano at a young age, had a 8 year gap between lessens, and started to learn on my own. I noticed that once I played a song after reading the sheet music, I could play it almost exactly the same by ear. If I would have know about these online lessons, I might not have had such a gap in my learning, and I might have been a better player.
I'm not really sure if I have any entrepreneur ideas. I have ideas, but I don't think they would make for a good entrepreneur idea.

  22. There are a lot of ways to make money, and all of these people recognized that. The best way to make money is to find a big need, and fill that need. Find something you can do that no one has done yet or you can do better.

If someone offered me a million dollars for an idea of mine, I would probably invest in some modern technologies...I have a lot of ideas, but now that I'm put on the spot I can't think of any of them.

I think my favorite is Sean Belnick because he proved that great ideas are not limited to age or education

  23. 1. They all pursued something that they loved to do.
    2. All made 1 million dollars or more before they were 25.
    3. Most of them used online tools to help them reach their goals.

The one that interested me the most was facebook because this is the one that I could relate to.
To think of an idea off the top of my head would be pretty hard. I would have to take some time to think about an idea and make it a really good one.

  24. 1. Most of the millionaires were men but there were a few females in there. Go girls!! There’s only nine on here? Why? 2. They all have more than one million so they strive for more “work” 3. They all look so well put together with their clothes and hair and make-up. Well my field is in computers so all of them are favorite’s of mine. I would either tell him/her off because it’s my idea and it’s my memory and it’s not for sale or id give them an idea and spread the money around to people who need it more than me.

  25. The thing that stuck out to me the most about these people was that they took something that they enjoyed and turned it into a tremendous opportunity. They all went for it and succeeded. I would also say that they all went through struggles and managed to problem solve to make it all happen.

I enjoyed the business about learning about music and how to play by ear. I have always loved music and been proficient. My grandpa was an excellent accordion player and never did it through sheet music but by ear and taught me as well.

The million dollar question: for me it's not a very unique thing. I would offer to open a rehabilitation center for injured persons. One that offered different facets for each person. Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Sports Medicine. I would even push for a medical physician and psychologist because of injuries and I believe that if a person is injured and take from what they love maybe there is a serious use for psychology.
