What do you think about this? Is it something that you think will end up becoming a reality? Would you feel comfortable using this system? What are three interesting things you learned from this article?
I would not feel comfortable using my phone to but everything. I think that there is a good chance of this becoming a reality. It could be helpfull but I just think that its not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel right using my phone for everything. I believe it could become reality. It can be useful but also have its downfalls.
ReplyDeleteIn the world right now there are many people who are sky high in debt because of credit card bills, and I believe this would just lead to more. The more easier you make it for people to buy stuff they will do it whether they have money or not. I think this would be a good idea so that we don't have to stand in line but in the end it is just going to cause an uproar in debt!
ReplyDeleteI would actually dislike this a lot... only because i am HORRIBLE at budgeting myself anyway... and the fact then that my "money" is literally at the palm of my hand-all the time- would make me go into serious debt lol. Apparently its a reality in other countries already... wouldnt feel comfortable with this at all...
ReplyDeleteIts an interesting way of paying for stuff but risky because what if you were to lose your cell phone or if it gets ruin. No I will never use my cell phone for paying ways. I like the cash in my hands. Also, no I wouldnt feel comfortable doing it. Three things: that you can pay with your cell phone, the company I go with does it, the ages that do it are 18-34
ReplyDeleteI think that it is cool and a good idea. I could see this becoming a reality because we rely on our phones for everything it seems like. It makes me a little uncomfortable because it seems like people would be able to hack into it easy and steal your money. It could replace paypal, verizon at&t, and t-mobile are the companies pushing for this, and the negative to this it could make cell phone bills even more complicated.
ReplyDeletei don't think it's a good idea because with all the problems with cell phones now a days. I think that it could become a reality but i think it's pretty stupid. we should be trying to invent something cool like a slinky or something. Those are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI dont think this would be a good idea at all. I think it could become a reality because crazy ideas like this normally do. I would not feel comfortable using this at all. I dont like useing my debit card as it is. I guess it might be nice since i am always losing my debt card but if i used this i think more problems would occur then not. I learned that it is being used in other countries already. The easier they make it to buy things the more people are going to be willing to spend and more and more debt problems are going to errupt. Besides, people have things happen to their cell phones all the time. It could get hacked or what if it breaks do u lose all info to ur money like you would all pictures? i dont think its a great idea at all.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good idea. It will further advance our ongoing upgrading society. I think it will be in our system here in the short future but the question is for how long. Another idea will come that is better. I would use the system. I learned that there are new ideas coming everyday.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very unique idea that many Americans would be satisfied with using. Personally i think i would like this feature on my phone because then it is just one less item i have to carry on myself. Also, i rarely ever lose my phone, its always with me, so stealing my card information would be much harder for thos criminals who do such.
ReplyDeleteI don't think using you're phone to pay for things is safe. So many people drop their phones, break them, and lose them. It's hard to break a debit card or a check book. Plus if someone stole a phone, they could use it to purchase things. Banks have security systems that prevent people from hacking into accounts and find ways to detect fraud. I don't think that cell phone providers have the security or the right technology to prevent identity and fraud.
ReplyDeleteIM not sure i would use that because i think thats somthing where people can keep up with u or whatever but i would not feel comfortable useing that at some places.. The article help but i dont no if i would use it still.
ReplyDeleteI think its a good way to pay for things but then again everything has there cons. I can really see this as becoming a reality! But i personally would not feel comfortable using it because people can steal phones and buy with them. Three things ive learned is that u can buy with your phone, cell phone bills complicated, and company i have does it.
ReplyDeleteI also believe that if we do that than somebody could get ahold of our money by hacking into our cell phones. and what happens if it gets wet? your screwed cause you got no money now!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a very convenient method of payment that will probably takeover credit cards in a few years. I would feel comfortable with this system, as long as there is a way to disable payments and soon as you lose your phone. Some interesting facts would be: 1) in 2014, 1 in 6 people will have phones capable of this kind of payments system. 2) Credit is the main thing that is keeping this from being a reality. 3) Visa is already experimenting with different kinds of mobile payments.
ReplyDeletei think this is crazy. like amazing how everything is changing an how smart people are to come up with this stuff.. i would def use it for sure. cuz u could never forget ur wallet. becuz most ppeople dont leave there phones anywhere, so that will b something i would like to do for sure.. ha it would prolly b good for ppl keeping track of there money an stuff. i like it.. blake nash
ReplyDeleteover n out
i think it would be cool , cuz you wouldnt have to worry about leaving or misplacing your card. yeah i think it will. i would be people scan their iphone on airplanes all the time. its interesting to think that stuff is getting easier and easier for the buyer every year. it makes you wonder what next
ReplyDeleteI think its pretty interesting how somebody could think of that and its really a risk with anything u create u jus have to be extra careful....
ReplyDeleteI think it is a great idea! Yes it will eliminate the wait of having to get out your wallet and run credit cards. I think it would be something that i would have to get used to. I thought the video was interesting, the wireless companies and phones picking up iris service, and the less use of paypal or cards
