It doesn't matter whether you are dealing with you personal Facebook account or the computer system of a nuclear power plant hackers are always trying to destroy what you created. Read the following two articles about computer hackers.

Have you or anyone you know ever been the victim of a hacker? What is the difference between a computer virus and a worm? Why do you think people get so much enjoyment out of ruining other people's creations? What are two ways you can protect yourself from hackers?
I have never been a victim nor has anyone I know. The defference between a virus and a worm is that a virus attacks the computers code and a worm takes over the whole system. I think that the people that are doing this terrible thing don't have lives. They have nothing better to do all day than sit at a computer and hack into people's personal lives and ruin what they have. To protect yourself from hackers you need to change your password whenever you feel a suspicous event going on, and to just watch what you click on. Make sure that what you are clicking on is something that looks accurate.
ReplyDeleteMy brother got one of his video game accounts hacked and could not use it anymore. A worm is much more dangerous. A virus just disrupts whatever you are trying to do. Because they think its funny and they see it as a challenge to them. Get a good security system.

ReplyDeleteI personally have never had any of my systems hacked, but one of my good friends as well as my own sister have had them hacked. In my opinion, hackers do it to either get revenge or like in the first article they supposedly attacked Iran to diminish their nuclear power program. The difference between a virus and worm is that, a worm is self-replicating and the virus is not. Also, a virus must be encrypted to pass over various networks, but the worm does not. Two safeways for using computer systems is to not add people you do not know, and create a password that is at least eight characters long and that cannot be broken!
ReplyDeleteNo I have never known anyone to get hacked. A virus just attacks the colde and a worm goes after the computer as a whole. I have no idea why people would want to hack into things they are too smart with not enough to do. You can protect yourself by changing your passwork alot, and not add people you do not know.
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyone I know on facebook has been hacked once or twice. I've been hacked once myself. The best way to keep from people hacking into you're account is make an extremely private profile and change you're password at least once a month. Most viruses will just cause you're computer to slow down and not let programs work to their full potential. A worm on the other hand will get all the information from you're computer and it's taken and stored in a different computer. You can't get rid of worm like you can get rid of viruses. If a worm gets into you're computer you're on a one way street with no U-turn.
ReplyDeleteA virus attacks only certain computer programs, while a worm attacks the entire system. Someone hacked my ex-girlfriends facebook account not too long ago so she had to get a new one. People who hack and make other people miserable, enjoy it because they were the type of kids who were bullied in high school and had no friends.(Tyler Burnett)Have secure passwords and dont click on stupid stuff and you'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anybody that got attacked by hackers. Viruses and worms are all malicious programs that can cause damage. A computer virus attaches itself to a program or file, and spread from one computer to another, leaving infections as it travels. Worm attacks the whole computer system. Those people probably doesn't have better things to do with their lives. Be careful with the websites we go on, use strong passwords and of course get virus software protection.
ReplyDeleteI personaly have never met somebody that has been hacked and I have never been myself. you can prevent being hacked by setting a really hard password or maybe change it alot, or you could not have a facebook.
ReplyDeleteI have never been hacked before but I have heard of people getting hacked and having to change all of their important information and cancel their credit cards. I am really not sure why people do this. The main way to protect yourself is just to be cautious when the surfing the web. Don't click on anything that you think could be a virus and don't download and install things that you are not familiar with.

I have been hacked and i can tell u it sucks :( makes me upsidedown face. I think some people just want to show the world that there smarter then them and want to stick the finger to the world. For the most part they dont really care what there doing to other people as long as they make a profit
ReplyDeleteI have never been hacked but my mom has a couple of times. I think people hack into computers for the enjoyment because they probly don't have anything better to do with their lives. Go on safe websites and change your passwords every couple of months.
